Question – Types of probability

Answer – The probability is of two types, based on a theoretical mathematics and based on the second systematic observation.

Two Types of probability

1. Theoretical possibilities demonstrate the conduct of coincidence as well as the definite assumptions made by us about events. For example, there is a possibility of getting a head on the coin flip.5 (1/2 = .5). Five items are likely to estimate the correct answer to the multiple choice question. 20 (1/5).
2. Empirical possibilities are those for whom we depend on observation to determine their value. For example, the probability of winning the cricket match by the Indian team is approximately .6 (6 out of 10 matches) is a ‘fact’ which we know from hundreds of games with different countries in one year.

The probability (P) varies from 0 to 1.0 in both forms. In most situations, decimal and percentage are not used to express the level of measurement. For example 0. 5 probability means 50% chance. A zero probability is impossible and 1.00 is the probability of the probability.
