Ans – The novel A Tale of Two Cities End – When there was a revolution in France. The Defarge family attacked the Bastille fort with the revolutionaries. There in the cell in which Dr. Manette was placed. From there he received Dr. Manette’s letter was found. This Dr. Manette wrote during captivity. There is a very important role ahead of this letter.

जब फ्रांस में क्रांति हुई थी। डिफार्ज परिवार ने क्रांतिकारियों के साथ बैस्टिल किले पर हमला किया। वहीं उस सेल में जिसमें डॉ. मैनेट को रखा गया था। वहां से उन्हें डॉ. मैनेट का पत्र मिला। यह डॉ. मैनेट ने कैद के दौरान लिखा था। इस पत्र के आगे एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है।

Dr. Manette was imprisoned in the Bastille fort for 18 years. The reason for this was Marquis, uncle of Charles Darnay. The Marquis was a very bastard man. He had Dr. Manette closed. Because Dr. Manette came to know about the Marquis scandal.

Years ago Marquis had gone mad after a farmer’s girl. Kidnapped and raped that girl and also killed her husband. The girl’s father died and the girl’s brother was also killed fighting with Marquis. The whole family of that girl was ended. Only one little girl survived in this family. The farmer’s entire family was destroyed because of Marquis.

सालों पहले मारकिस एक किसान की लड़की के पीछे पागल हो गया था। उस लड़की का अपहरण कर दुष्कर्म किया और उसके पति की भी हत्या कर दी। लड़की के पिता की मृत्यु हो गई और लड़की का भाई भी मारकिस से लड़ते हुए मारा गया। उस लड़की का पूरा परिवार खत्म हो गया था। इस परिवार में केवल एक छोटी बच्ची बची थी। मारकिस की वजह से किसान का पूरा परिवार तबाह हो गया था।

Sydney Carton learns a secret about why the Defarge family wants Charles Darnay to be bad. Especially Madame Defarge. He comes to know about this when he enters their liquor shop. There it is learned that Madame Defarge is the last surviving child of the farmer family, which was destroyed by the uncle. That’s why Madame wants to get Charles Darnay of Defarge punished.

Tomorrow Charles Darnay will be beheaded. Sydney Carton acts as a hero in this story. Sydney Carton loved Lucie. He would do anything for her and because Charles Darnay was Lucie’s husband. To save his life, Sydney Carton himself climbed the guillotine at the end of the story. Actually, it had replaced itself in place of Charles. Because it looked like Charles Darnay. It saved Charles Darnay’s life, but he climbed the guillotine. His last words while dying were like this
