Answer – According to Levinson’s Season of Life, Middle adulthood starts with an infection (40-45), followed by life structure (45-50). This structure is re-evaluated (50-55) and ends in life structure (55-60). Middle Ages is a period of age beyond young adulthood but before the beginning of old age. Various attempts have been made to define this era, which is around the third quarter of the average lifespan of human life.
The Characteristics of middle adulthood are:
- Capability, maturity, responsibility and stability can be he/she
- Attention is focused on children
- Old age plan
- Menopause event in women.
In middle adulthood, a significant challenge is to develop a genuine concern for the welfare of future generations and contribute to the world through family and work. This period is between 40-60 years of age. From the twentieth year and the period of thirties, a person comes into the forties and fifties in the Middle Ages. In the Middle Ages, there is characteristic of capacity, maturity, responsibility and stability. This is the time when someone wants to enjoy the success of a job, satisfaction gained from family and social life. People look forward to the success of their children. Meditation is more focused on health, children’s fate, aging parents, use of leisure time and old age plans.
Adults of middle-aged adults often show symptoms of aging, such as skin elasticity and loss of hair graying. Physical fitness usually occurs with 5-10 kg of body fat accumulation, decrease in aerobic exposure and decrease in maximum heart rate. Strength and flexibility also decreases throughout the middle ages. However, people are at different rates and there may be significant differences between individuals of the same age.
Midlife is also seen as a time of creativity and significant contributions to society. It is found that the best work of scientists, writers and artists is done late in the forties and during the initial fifties. Changes from adolescence to puberty may be stressful at times, but between the age of 19 and 30 we are physically our chief, and our cognitive skills are being finalized. Of course, sometimes it seems that we are working together with one million things and in any number anything can change the rest of our lives, 21 but the best part about it is. Young adulthood happens when (most of us) decide that this is what we want to do with the rest of our lives, whether it is to raise a family, start a career, or both.
Midlife Crisis was cited by Levinson because people went into middle adulthood. It is an idea that adults reach a certain point and question their life choices, which results in personality reconstruction. The changes seen were slow and steady. Changes for males may occur around the early forties, but women may be in the late 40s and 50s, because they are free from hair responsibilities.
