Grey literature means both published and unpublished content, which in no way is International Standard Book Number (ISBN) or International Standard Serial Number (ISSN). Gray literature is a wide range that includes unpublished research newsletters, conference papers and pamphlets etc. Most researchers use one or other type of gray literature while doing research.
Official publication –
This type of literature fulfills double purpose. Firstly, such literature can be a valuable source of background and contextual information, and secondly, they can also be used as a source of secondary data, document analysis and secondary data analysis are often based on this type of literature.
