1. (a) What is the distinction between increase in demand and expansion of demand? Explain the various methods to measure the elasticity of demand. (10)
माँग में वृद्धि एवं माँग के विस्तार में क्या अंतर है। माँग की लोच के विभिन्न मापकों को बताइये।
(b) Given the demand function (5)
निम्नलिखित दिये गये माँग फलन से माँग की लोच की गणना कीजिए

Find out the price elasticity of demand.
2. (a) What is National Income? How equilibrium level of income is determined? What causes changes in equilibrium level of income? (10)
राष्ट्रीय आय क्या है। कौन से कारक आय के संतुलन स्तर में परिवर्तन लाते है।
(b) Given the following equations (5)
निम्नलिखित समीकरणों से आय के संतुलन स्तर का आकलन कीजिए।
S = -70 + 0.25Yd
Yd = Y – T
I = I0 = 40
G = G0 = 30
T = T0 = 20
Find out the equilibrium level of income.

3. What do you mean by production function? Explain with diagram the three stages of production under fixed and variable proportion in production. Why does law of diminishing returns operate?
उत्पादन फलन से आप क्या समझते है। उत्पादन के स्थिर एवं परिवर्ती अनुपात के तहत उत्पादन की तीनों अवस्थाओं की सचित्र व्याख्या कीजिए।
4. Find the equilibrium price and the quantity for the market whose quantity demanded and quantity supplied are given below:
किसी बाजार के माँग एवं आपूर्ति फलन इस प्रकार है
Qd = 220 – 5P
Qs = -20 + 3P.
उपरोक्त फलनों से साम्य कीमत एवं उत्पादन की मात्रा का आकलन कीजिए।
5. What is price discrimination? Explain how will a profit maximizing monopolist distribute output in different markets?
कीमत विभेद क्या है। व्याख्या करें कि अधिकतम लाभ प्राप्त करने की इच्छुक एकाधिकारी फर्म विभिन्न बाजारों में किस प्रकार उत्पादन का विभाजन करेगी।
6. What are the determinants of demand for money? Explain the Keynesian version in this regard.
