SENTENCNE TYPES

On this basis we can recognize four types of sentences.
1. A simple sentence
2. A complex sentence
3. A compound sentence
4. A compound-complex sentence
इस आधार पर हम चार प्रकार के वाक्यों को पहचान सकते हैं।
1. एक साधारण वाक्य
2. एक जटिल वाक्य
3. एक मिश्रित वाक्य
4. एक जटिल-जटिल वाक्य

A simple sentence is one which contains only one subject and one predicate such as the following

She likes tea.
All of us avoid noisy places.
Most of us welcome non-smoking compartments.
Now let’s rewrite it as below:
She and her sister like tea.
She likes tea as well as coffee.
She and her sister like tea, coffee and milk.
एक सरल वाक्य वह है जिसमें केवल एक विषय होता है और एक निभाता है जैसे कि निम्नलिखित

वह चाय पसंद करती है
हम सभी शोर स्थानों से बचें।
