Question – Parametric statistics

Answer – Parametric statistics include all methods of data when sample size is larger, while the sample size is smaller in non-parametric testing. Both tests have some advantages and disadvantages. Parametric methods of statistical analysis make assumptions about distribution. The most common perception is the perception about general distribution. The perception tells that the population obtained from the population is normally distributed. Another perception that is usually made, is the perception about the differences. This perception is necessary for T-test, ANOVA, etc. For these figures, this assumption tells that population variations are similar. Similarly, symmetry perception is created in retrograde. When the actual data is collected on human subjects, the underlying assumptions can not be satisfied by the data. In such cases the application of statistical techniques is problematic. Distribution can not be normal or version may not be the same. In such circumstances, the use of parametric methods can lead to wrong possibilities because the figures can not follow the given probability distribution. Parametric statistics are relatively sensitive to excessive values.
