Why do you think Australia is known as a multi-cultural society?

Australia expects certain commitments from &l members of the community; regardless of their background:

  • to share nil overriding loyalty to Australia, its interest and future;

  • to acknowledge the right to express one’s own culture and beliefs involves a reciprocal responsibility to accept the right of others to express their views and values.’
