BHAGAT SINGH AND HIS IDEOLOGY

Arjun Singh led the villagers in opposing the govt. order saying that they won‘t allow evacuation and destruction if the alternative houses were not provided. He had to face the wrath of the govt. He was an Arya Samajist liberal. Bhagat Singh was deeply impressed by the personality of his grandfather. At the time of the ―yaggopveet‖ ceremony of Bhagat Singh and his elder brother Jagat Singh (who died at the age of 11) Arjun Singh dedicated his two grandsons to the freedom struggle. When Bhagat Singh decided to leave his house and join freedom struggle he wrote a letter to his father, where he refers to this.

अर्जुन सिंह ने सरकार के विरोध में ग्रामीणों का नेतृत्व किया आदेश कह रही है कि यदि वे वैकल्पिक घर नहीं दिए गए तो वे निकासी और विनाश की अनुमति नहीं देंगे। उन्हें सरकार के क्रोध का सामना करना पड़ा था वह आर्य समाजवादी उदारवादी थे। भगत सिंह अपने दादाजी के व्यक्तित्व से बहुत प्रभावित हुए थे। भगत सिंह और उनके बड़े भाई जगत सिंह (जो 11 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया) के यगोगोविसेत समारोह के समय में अर्जुन सिंह ने अपने दो पोते को स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में समर्पित किया। जब भगत सिंह ने अपना घर छोड़ने और स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में शामिल होने का फैसला किया तो उन्होंने अपने पिता को एक पत्र लिखा, जहां उन्होंने इस बात का उल्लेख किया।
