Write a critique of John Donne

During the following years he worked as a lawyer in the service of Thomas Morton, author of anti-Catholic pamphlets. His main creations of that period were Divine Poems (1607) and the work in prose Biathanatos, which was not published until 1644, well after his death. In 1608, he reconciled with his father-in-law. In 1611, he published Anniversaries, an elegy in two parts. His previous work, Pseudo-Martyr (1610), is a prose treatise in which he maintained that Catholics in England could swear allegiance to King James I without betraying their religious sentiments. This affirmation attracted him the favor of the king, who appointed him royal chaplain the same year, 1615, in which the poet was ordained a priest of the Anglican church.
