3) Thirdly, you have digitalisation. That is where you make analog systems binary and therefore compatible in a variety of ways with other kinds of communication. For example, a movie, a telephone call, letter or magazine article may be sent digitally via phone line, co-axial cable, tape or a disk. With digitalization the content becomes totally plastic. Any message, sound, or image may be edited him anything to anything else.
