Tara gets the lesson of life and decides to rear her child and design her as career conscious and independent girl to face all kind of assaults with a tendency to fight back. This specific change in her behaviour takes place due to different gender implications which are ascribed on her. She does not want her child to face the same fate and thus rears her child in a different way. Tara rears her girl child, developing in her a career oriented approach and priority for self dependence. “When Tara‟s daughter was born, she crooned her lullabies of brave women warriors, and made sure that all her education was oriented towards a career that would make her independent” (Chocolate 6).

तारा को जीवन का सबक मिलता है और अपने बच्चे को  लड़ने की प्रवृत्ति के साथ सभी प्रकार के हमलों का सामना करने के लिए सावधान और स्वतंत्र लड़की के रूप में डिजाइन करती है। उसके व्यवहार में यह विशिष्ट परिवर्तन विभिन्न लिंग प्रभावों के कारण होता है जो उसके बारे में बताए जाते हैं। वह नहीं चाहती कि उसके बच्चे को उसी भाग्य का सामना करना पड़े और इस तरह वह अपने बच्चे को अलग तरीके से पीछे रखे। तारा अपनी लड़की के बच्चे को पीछे रखती है, अपने करियर उन्मुख दृष्टिकोण और आत्म निर्भरता के लिए प्राथमिकता में विकास करती है। “जब तारा की बेटी पैदा हुई थी, तो उसने बहादुर महिला योद्धाओं की नींद को नीचा कर दिया, और यह सुनिश्चित किया कि उसकी सारी शिक्षा एक करियर की ओर उन्मुख हो जो उसे स्वतंत्र करेगी” (चॉकलेट 6)
