Analyse the following extract of a poem by Tennyson using the tools given to you in Block 9 of your Course. Ring out, wild bells Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky, The flying cloud, the frosty light:

Third Stanza OF Ring Out Wild Bells

Ring out the pain that saps the brain,

For those that here we see no more,

Ring out the fight of rich and poor,

Ring in change to all humanity.

Here we see this thought of chime ringing proceed. Here the content is instructing us to “ring out” anguish. This is an intriguing method for saying we have to relinquish things like misery. The feeling is depicted appropriately as sapping the psyche. The following line is very astute, “here” is specifically exceptionally shrewd. It’s inclusion proposes that we don’t see individuals here, I think the here alludes to the mortal domain. The proposal being deduced that we will see them again yet elsewhere, IE on the opposite side, or in paradise. In the last two lines of the stanza the storyteller requires a conclusion to debate between the classes. These are largely ideas that appears to be proper at Christmas and New Year and tie in with the customary importance of the festivals.
